hi i wonder why the roof hatch pattern is not showing on elevation?  But it is showing in plan view.

Please see the attached file.  The roof pattern is showing on the plan views . But the hatch is not showing on North Elevation - Demolition.

Can anyone help me?  Thank you very much!

Check if phase graphic overrides turning off surface patterns of elements under previous phases.

You won't see a surface pattern on the side edge in Elevation.  If you want a surface pattern on the side edge, use the Paint Tool and paint the material onto the edge surface.

BTW: you won't even even be able to distinguish a 300mm line spacing in a typical Building Elevation.  You would need an extreme close-up to see that detail.

I checked the phases etc and it is fine. and the pattern shows perfectly in plan views. maybe it's because the slope is too shallow?  it is only 2 degrees.

Thank you!  I am talking about the roof, not the side of the wall.

Okay that's why.  The pattern is too dense so Revit omits it.

It will show if your view has a bigger scale or you turn Thin lines off.

I thought you wanted the edge of the roof to have the same surface pattern as the Roof. If so, PAINT the edge with the Material.

I can see you painted the edge of the roof.  but I don't need the edge of the roof to show pattern.  The roof itself is not showing the pattern,

I tried to paint the roof, but the pattern line does not show up.  I think it's because the slope is too shallow?  it is 2 degrees

when I turn off "thin lines" button, the pattern shows up.  but we turn this button on, the pattern line dissappears.  strange.  I need the pattern line to show with "thin lines" button on
