Roof doesn't meet

Hi. Same roof thickness, different pitch won't meet. I need to draw them separately. Any thoughts?

If they are the same thickness, same overhang, same soffit elevation, but different slopes, geometrically they will end at different heights like your image shows.

If the eaves are meant to be aligned, the edge needs to have a different overhang. There is a tool to do this called "Align Eaves".

Hi,

Just tried to align the eaves, it didn't fix it. It says ''the roofs are already aligned''. I think the problem is the rafter cut. I have 5/12 and 12/12 pitch. At the 12/12 pitch the vertical cut is longer. ( as you mentioned above the roofs are the same). If I make one big roof instead 2 separate ones, Revit fixes it by cutting the end of the rafter so that they look the same, but this way my roof gets messed up. ( I have a complicated roof)

My rafter cuts are both set at plumb cut.

Curve portion of roof can be done separate, and rest in one piece..

To set the 3D Home view - set the desired view, right click on the View Cube and click Set Current View as Home.

You can create multiple 3D views - set the view as desired. In Project Browser, duplicate the 3D View and rename it. Then go back to the default 3D view that was always on the Project Browser to create more views.

Options that can help with the roof - 

1) the Join Roof tool (under the Modify tab)

2) model the roof by extrusion (Architecture>Roof>Roof By Extrusion) and then Join

Hi. Thanks for explaining how to set the view. Don't know how happened that this post got a solution. I have a specific problem. I uploaded a Revit file and I explained what the problem was; the problem appears when the 2 roofs 5/12 and 12/12 intersect. The curved roofs are fine. The slopper the roof is the longer the vertical rafter line is. That makes the problem when they intersect you don't have a clear eave line. I am uploading again an image that shows the problem. I would appreciate if you advise me how to solve this problem.
