Revit worksharing when working remotely

Hello.  I am attempting to implement a proper Revit worksharing solution for a small architecture firm (less than 5 Revit users) that use Revit version 18.    The architects often work remotely away from their main office.   In order to use Revit worksharing appropriately while they are working away from their office, would it be advisable to install a file server (or NAS) in their office to store Central Model files (which would be configured to be accessible remotely)?    Or could a Cloud File sharing service like Google Cloud be used to store the Central Model files without any issues?    Are there any advantages or disadvantages for either of these methods?    Thanks

BIM360 is the appropriate cloud solution.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.
