Revit User Interface after Loading Project

After creating a Revit project and arranging views such as floor plans, elevations, sections, and a 3D view on the workspace, I saved the project.

Upon reopening the project, only the ground floor plan was displayed on the screen. The painstakingly arranged layout of views on the interface was completely lost and not restored as it was before saving.

Try after saving, close the Revit session without with the views open. When you reopen, the last opened views will be there, type WT to tile them

There used to be an app from parallax if I am not mistaken which used to color, sort and group view TABs but I'm not sure if it is still there or if it works with the current Revit versions...Pyrevit also had some sort of Tab management option but Im not sure what it does exactly (never used it)

There are also  lots View Tab Management plugins out there...you should be able to find a few on the Autodesk App store (some free some paid)

Do not close the project watch gif again… close the Revit Session ie: mit dem x oben recht (shut down recut with views open and project open)

Ich habe es genau so gemacht wie in dem GIF.

Projekt erstellt, Die Fenster angeordnet, gespeichert und dann oben rechts auf dem X das Programm geschlossen.

Nach einem neuen Start von Revit habe ich dann das Projekt wieder geladen und nach wie vor erhalte ich nur die Ansicht des Erdgeschosses.

In dem Reiter sind keine weiteren Ebenen geöffnet, die ich vorher geöffnet hatte und somit auch keine Anordnung der Fenster ???

Das funktioniert weder beim Revit 2023 noch bei Revit 2025?

Selbst wenn ich mehrere Grundrisse im Reiter habe und die Fenster nicht anordne und speichere, das Programm schliesse und anschliessend neu starte und das Projekt lade erhalte ich im Reiter immer nur ein Erdgeschoss?

In the last video you posted, you were not following same steps in the GIF so I am not sure what to say. There is specific option to check. I did retry it on 3 workstations and on versions 22, 23, 24, 25 ... it seems to work perfectly fine here as shown in previous replies

using latest builds/updates on all versions, just the basic installation with no special policies, addins or whatever...Below is another test from my home office laptop on 2025. All projects closed as described above open all tabs which were open before closing the revit session

I see that it will work for you.

I dont know why it will not work for me on my PC and Notebook?

Is this a limitation of the Student Version of Revit?
