Hello once again, trying to send rvit file to cad 15 and this is what he's getting on the other end "The first thing that happens while Acad 15 is opening is a error warning sound and it says, "One or more referenced files could not be read, what do you want to do?"  My options are to update location of reference files or ignore unresolved references and continue" Is there something im missing on my end? thank you again.

When you export you can either create a sheet view file with external references for each view on the sheet, many files per sheet OR you can have it create a sheet file that places blocks of the views in the same file, one file per sheet.

It sounds like you used the first approach but then didn't send all the external reference files to them or they are in a different folder and now AutoCAD can't find them on their end. You need to figure out if you sent all the files or not...and if you did...how they a placing the files on their own computer. If all the files are together AutoCAD should be able to find them.

Thanks Steve, I just sent a sheet file of first floor, unaware that I had to send reference file with it, or even locate them, this is a new avenue for me, thanks again for the help.

When exporting to DWG, I always choose the option to not create external references. That way it puts everything into one file.

Check out the attached picture.

You have two options to modify this...In the configuration setup for DWG Export and when you Save As per the picture.  Uncheck the box shown and it will export as one DWG.
