Revit Stringer Extension - Transitioning into Baseboard / Skirtboard

I have been unable to find a solution for extending the Stringer past the Tread in Revit.

In this old 2011 solution, one could simply lengthen the sketched Tread line:

However, after reading Adam Hamilton's later comment, the advent of the component Staircase in versions 2013+ has eliminated this as a current solution.

In the end, I would like to extend the Stringer past the Tread so that I may transition it into the Baseboard like so:

I have been researching this for over an hour and have come up short. Hopefully someone here will have a solution, so many thanks in advance.

P.S. - I have attached the staircase in question as a separate RVT file with Section.

Create them as walls with edited profile.

I wasn't able to open the file for the horizontal cut as it was saved in a later version (Running 2019). I have played around with that before. I don't believe that would work for this scenario because it does not look the same as the intended shape:

However, I did try your previous suggestion (did you edit it or something? Because it's gone now lol). I decided to remove the automatic stringers on the Tread and Landing and remodel them as an-place component under the "Stair" Category. Then, throw in a few custom sweeps and a model line and viola- looks like the real-deal:

I still do not wish to accept in-place modeling as the solution, as this is a very annoying and cumbersome work-around.

2019 attached.

I must of accidently deleted the In-Place Component Suggestion. But it sounds like you don't like it anyways. Personally, I would use the other approach I suggested; the one attached herein.  It's quick and easy.

You can play with tread profile + nosing length to get it done.

Any chance you could explain how you produced the desired effect?

Also, would it even be possible considering both my Nosing Profile and Tread Profiles are fixed values?

Indeed, it worked out nicely on account of the sweeps being embedded into the walls as profiles. Even as a secondary wall sweep it would probably work (assuming it was Categorized under "Wall" or something similar).  For now I'll go ahead and accept that as the solution, but in all honesty, I am left with the thought that Revit needs to add in an additional feature to the Stringers...

I'm thinking... Add in a "Horizontal Stringer Offset" feature and change the name of 'Extend Below Riser Base' to "Vertical Stringer Offset". In the same way Positive and Negative values can be input into the original, the same would be true for the new 'Horizontal Stringer Offset'. I think this addendum would allow for some SERIOUS control issues that the current setup is lacking:

"Horizontal Stringer Offset""Horizontal Stringer Offset"

"Vertical Stringer Offset""Vertical Stringer Offset"

Vertical Stringer Offset is just what I think it should be re-named to. As it is now, it is currently found under the 'Construction' heading of the Stair when Editing under the name "Extend Below Riser Base".
