I’m running into an issue with Revit (2024) that’s driving me a little crazy. I created a few shared parameters for some custom furniture families (things like material code and vendor ID). The parameters are working fine in the family editor, but when I load the families into the project and try to build a schedule, the fields don’t appear as options.
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
Double-checked that the shared parameter file is the same one linked in the project.
Verified that the parameters are set to “Instance” and “Text” as intended.
Reloaded the families multiple times.
Even created a new project with a fresh template to test.
Still no luck. Am I missing a step to make these shared parameters accessible in schedules, or is there a known quirk with this version of Revit?
Would really appreciate any guidance — I feel like I’m one checkbox away from solving this.
