Revit server 2022 unavailable (web admin panel)

Good morning/afternoon/evening!

The admin panel stopped working, possibly after the project folders were renamed to Revit Server\Projects. It is impossible to rename it back. How can I fix this? Maybe it's somewhere in IIS or editing some file? Please help me.

@niwt9kmne

When you renamed the folders, either the configuration might not have been updated automatically or the browser is still using the cashed paths for Revit Server Admin Panel.

  1. The first possible easy fix is to log out and clear the cache in your browser or use a different browser. Log back in and try again
  2. Otherwise, the main configuration file for Revit Server is usually RevitServer.ini or RevitServerConfig.xml, and these files are typically located in the Revit Server installation directory. You can check these files and make sure the folder paths in the configuration match the new folder names or paths.

If Revit Server is using a database (such as an SQL server) to store paths, you may need to update the folder paths in the database. This can be done through SQL management tools by locating the entries that reference the old folder names and changing them to the new folder names.

Hope the above helps you avoid a new clean install
