Revit Section box will not crop from all sides.

Hi,

Got this problem with the section box in Revit 3D views when cropping form many sides.

Background:

We link 3D DWG files into Revit.

This files are exported from Autodesk Inventor.

Problem:

When in Revit 3D view and turn on section box to cut away some of the building. Starting with one side and continue through all sides suddenly the model jumps outside the section box border.

We have tried to do this with the same model but exported to ADSK format and the imported to Revit but the same thing happens with this setup.

This also impacts the sheets where we can´t use the View Range.

Is there someone who have had this problem ore have a solution?

Attaches some images.

i have not seen this before.  have you tried to create a new 3d view, turn on the section box command and adjusted the section box again to see if it happens?  If it doesn't and the new 3d view holds, then the issue lies within the existing 3d view you are working with (it may be corrupt).

Yes I had that problem when I was a Revit toddler, and now

I have the solution.

That's the way it is when you import or link a DWG wireframe

into a Revit project. If you want to be able to slice and dice that

DWG wireframe, import it into the family editor and then load

it into the project. You can also scale it easy that way. Even

control its line color easier.

Hi,
Tried this but that won´t work unfortunately.
We have now updated to Revit 2016 and it seems to fix this problem.
So the fix is to update to Revit 2016 or do as Revit_LT2 says.
