Revit Save Positions in Manage Links is grayed out

Before and after publishing coordinates, I am unable to click save positions within the manage links dialog box. What are common reasons why this button would be grayed out and how can I fix it? I need to save positions of my links so I can upload to VEO and utilize and share the model in other ways.

Position Not Saved is checked even after you save it?

The button will be available after you Reconcile the Shared Coordinates to the link.  Not sure what you have done differently.

I ended up needing to sync the file after detaching. Or "Save As", project, options, then check "make this central model after save".
