I've been having this problem for quite some time, it doesn't stop me from using Revit since I can still open files. However, when I tried to render in the cloud it tries to download a similar html file, then it opens in the browser. When I click on the links on the browser nothing happens. (see attached image)
I use Revit 2014 student version.
Previously I didn't have this problem, then it started all of a sudden. I had both Revit 2013 and 2014 and both started having the same problem. I uninstalled both and reinstalled Revit 2014, and still the same problem.
I have searched forums and tried some solutions, like setting Internet Explorer as default browser (I currently use Google Chrome), but still no fix.
Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.

Not a solution but maybe something to check out.
In my experience this usually has something to do with programs outside Revit and relating to the internet.
Did you do something to your computer before your problems started (e.g internet setttings, installed other software) ?
Look at programs that affect connection with the internet, Firewalls, Pop-up blockers, virus scanners, internet settings, browsers etc.
If not too long ago and you rememeber wehn revit was working problem you might return to an earlier windows restore point.

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.
