my first Project in Revit 2023 and I am having an issue that I used to have in 2022, however figured a workaround using CTRL "P" Shorthand command instead of the windows dropdown to print. This usually prevented this printing to PDF problem but not always. Here is the issue:
I can produce no more than one PDF print of any view per Revit session. If I make a revision to a view and print again, the blue progress bar freezes and nothing happens. I can close the progress window and the app is still running but the print never finished and the original PDF file that I was overwriting is gone from my directory. Views or Sheets, does not matter and happens whether printing one or multiple pages. I've restarted my Revit App and my computer multiple times and now I cannot print a certain view again even after I close and reopen the application. Windows, Revit and Adobe Acrobat are all updated. If anyone has had this issue and figured out the resolution, please let me know.
There was a recent Autodesk ticket open that shows this issue resolved but they simply blame 3rd party software and closed the case. Revit is the only App that has this problem so that does not seem possible. Thanks!
