This is possibly not a Revit issue. I am not sure what it means when you are saying that you have tried everything.

You will have to do some troubleshooting to find possible solutions:

-Restart your PC.

-Check for updates (Revit, OS)

-Have you checked your journal file and checked if something is mentioned about the sissue?

-What happens when you print to PDF from a different project?

-What happens when you print to PDF a very simple drawing (e.g. a few lines only)?

-What happens when you print to PDF from other software?

-Have you tried to install/use a different PDF printer?

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.

Are you using Adobe PDF? If you print to adobe pdf using "current view" it makes the adobe print dialogue appear, but the file is never created. You need to use "select views/sheets".

Or alternatively use a different pdf printer.

Hi @Anonymous

Welcome to the Autodesk Community! I see that you are visiting as a new member Smiley Happy

Which version of Revit and which PDf printer are you using?

Can you make sure you have the latest updates for your Revit version?

Looking forward to your reply and I'm glad to troubleshoot further!

Please try the following:

  1. Install Docuflow plugin from the App Store. It is a simple but complete solution to print 100% scaled sheets.
  2. Upgrade your Revit. Make sure you are not running the first customer ship release of Revit as they seem to have issues with virtual printers.

Those builds are for instance : 20170223_1515 , 20160225_1515 . Check that in the about dialog from Revit.

Hi @Anonymous

I'm checking back once again to see if you still needed assistance and see what is the current status of this issue?

If you still face issues, please include the following information:

  • Exact steps to reproduce so we can test it at our end
  • All files, journals, links, software versions, and printer settings ...including all views printed in Revit, all Revit printer settings, and all Adobe printer settings including advanced.
  • Please check if your machine is not running out of RAM. This would very significantly affect the performance of printing.

I look forward to hearing from you.
