A command to square up (rotate) a view?

We are in the process of creating enlarged Unit plans for our project ...

At this time I am resorting to opening the view, clicking the boundary and rotating it ... either eye balling it or determining the angle by measure the angles ... and then typing in the angle ...

Two things are strange (3 if you include having to edit the crop boundary) ...

1) I need to rotate the angle in the opposite direction in which I want it to rotate ...

2) there is no rotate by a reference angle ... or a uc (e) alignment command ... like in autocad ...

Of course I discovered that the model was not constructed on a measureable angle (or we need to tweak the tolerances) ...

Any suggestions or tricks would be welcomed ...

You can create a scopebox and rotate it. That can let you snap to a geometry on the view such as a wall, a grid, or a ref plane. Then set the view to use the scopebox as the crop region.

I am not familiar with the term "scopebox" ... but I found could construct the desired angle with detail lines ... and then I learned recently that I could move the rotation origin ... which I would move to that angle and rotate the image ....

@jim3thornton And why do you need to rotate the enlarged plan views?

We create an enlarged plan of a Unit Plan from the Overall Building Plan ... some of the Unit Types are on an angle.

As an standard we prefer to have the entry door on the bottom of the sheet, so we would need to rotate the view to achieve this.
