Revit not responding

Hi all,

I have a student version of Revit 2020 and everytime I try to drop the shadows and apply the lighting features in the graphic display option, the revit is not responding and I have to close restart the program. I have an advanced laptop with good graphic card, the revit model is not big and I do not have materials applied in this view I am trying to render. Any recommendations? It happened the same in the 2019 version.

install the latest updates from autodesk and install latest graphics card driver and see if helps. thanks

or try to untick use hardware acceleration from options and see if helps. thanks
