HELLO

I AM TRYING TO ADJUST THE VIEWPORT VIEW SCALE FOR A DETAIL VIEW IN A DRAWING BUT IT IS GRAYED OUT IN THE PROPERTIES PALETTE. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHY IT WOULD BE GRAYED OUT AND HOW TO CHANGE IT?

Check Properties under Modify, then go to View template. Currently the view scale will be set to include in the selected template.

IT WAS CONTROLLED BY A VIEW TEMPLATE. I SET THE VIEW TEMPLATE TO <NONE> AND I WAS THEN ABLE TO HCANGE THE VIEW SCALE.

THANKS!

@AnonymousHi Zac, when  you learn more about Revit along the road you will find both my answer and bradley's are in fact solutions to your question as to why settings might not be available/greyed. Setting the view template to none is basically unchecking all boxes to 'don't include' in a template. Maybe try to create a new view template or play around with the settings of an existing template, you'll figure it out.
