Revit model movement

I am having trouble taking an existing revit model and aligning it with a pointcloud. Without moving the pointcloud is there a way to maneuver the model to align with the pointcloud which is on datum?

What about the other way around? Align the Point Cloud to the Model?

Not something I would do.  What about Linking? In other words, put the PC in a Revit file of it's own and either Link the PC rvt into the Model, or vice versa. Then you could set up shared positioning.

What do you mean you can't move the pointcloud? You are not able to move it or you are not allowed to move it?

Im not allowed to. The PC is from a known Z elevation. Moving it would disrupt everything. I was using older scans but the revitalized ones are in a different location. So I am trying to match my original model to the new location of the point cloud.
