Revit Materials Sporadically Missing

Has anyone had problems with their Revit materials sporadically disappearing?  I would estimate that every third time I open my model my materials are grayed out or missing.  If I reopen the model a few times, they will eventually reappear.  I just bought a new computer and I copied all of the specs from the top performing Revit computer listed on Autodesk.  I'm wondering if this is a monitor issue or a software issue.  Any recommendations would be appreciated!

First, I would suggest checking the Desktop App to see if there are any Revit updates available. For information on using the Desktop App see the following article: About the Autodesk Desktop App

 

Note: If you are not able to download updates through the Desktop App, the following article has information on downloading updates through the Autodesk Accounts page: Install Updates, Add-ons, and Enhancements

Thanks for the follow-up.  The updates seem to have reduced the frequency of this problem, but it is still occurring.

@Anonymous that's good to hear, but do send across your journal for us to examine the cause.

 

Did you try a repair of Revit?

I'm not sure what you mean by journal, but I will try a repair of Revit when I return from vacation.
