Revit LT Modify Drop Down Menus

I'm having real issues in that when placing walls etc, or changing values in the properties box the drop down menu's for location, height etc are not showing?  If I start to type while the constraint is selected I can cycle through the options but this is so slow and frustrating.  Tried hardware accerlation on and off, makes no difference.  Anyone have any bright ideas?

What are your system specs?  How much free space do you have on your hard drive?  Graphics card driver up to date?

Windows Pro 10, 2.6GHz i7-6600U (driver is up to date), 16GB RAM, about 900GB free on HDD.

I have just tried 'Override High DPI scaling behaviour' in the compatiblility properties and this seems to be working for the minute.  After a little more research it seems there is a coomon issue when using a laptop and external screen scaling displays at different values.  My laptop screen was 200% where the external was 100%.  you'd think Autodesk would have released a driver update or something for this by now.

It is a known issue that All Autodesk products want to be at 150% or less on Display zoom.

Not an Autodesk issue but something Microsoft dreamed up that screwed up everyone else.

Hi @BiBO_Craig

Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

Are you using a special kind of wall like foundation or structure that tops down?

Please send us a journal file to troubleshoot further and a screencast of how this is happening?

Also please see the AKN article HERE

This happens in Win 10, because Win 7 didn't allow the user to set different custom display values on each monitor.

Please mark this response as "Accept as Solution" if it answers your question. Kudos gladly accepted.

Thanks,
