Hi

I have aded this topic here, because I cannot select Revit LT as an product 😉

Please make it possible to create Deployments for Revit LT, as you can on other products.

Kind regards

Revit LT was built for individuals....if you are using it for a mass deployment then Revit 201X would be your best solution.

No need for a deployment.

Yes, for individuals, I know
But we have a lost of customers That uses Revit LT for fx. one familyhouses, large companies, 5-20 seats, and here there are only one user for each house, that do not use for example worksharing.

Here it it very important to have the deployment possibility.
What Autodesk thing the product should be used for, and what in the real world it is used for , it sometimes two different things 🙂

A long time ago, AutoCAD LT was a Learning and Training, but it also became a huge selling product, and it has the possibility to create Deployment.

Please tell the developers to add it, or make possible to create a script, with switches.

What you can do is have the extracted version somewhere. (usually under c:\Autodesk) and run from there. I'm asking a friend of mine whether his deployment script would work.

But if you want something implemented, you need to ask at the Autodesk Feedback Community site, not here on the forums.

Hi @Anonymous

I see what you are saying!

Revit LT comes with a Standalone Installation but yes, does not support Network deployment.

It can add your request to the IDEAS forum for consideration, you can add your comments and get further feedback from the product team on that board.

Please select the Accept as Solution button if my post solves your issue or answers your question.

Regards,

Hi @Anonymous

I've added your request to the IDEAS board. Please feel free to add your thoughts/ any screenshots etc to this page, and please vote.

You can invite your co-workers to vote, the more votes, it has a chance to get reviewed and implemented if possible, or you will get a response as to why this cannot be done at the moment.

This is periodically reviewed by a dedicated team.

Regards,
