Revit LT 2019 Sizing Viewports

I need some help...How do you and can you resize viewport boundaries.  After I add a drawing to the sheet or if I run across a viewport that is already on the sheet, and it is too wide, too long or too short, I would like to resize it.  So far I have not been able to figure out how to do that.  I'd like to resize it because sometimes one viewport blanks out text of another viewport close by.    I've looked and looked on the internet and in Revit Help, but can't find the answer.  I'm wondering if Revit LT is not capable of resizing viewport boundaries.  I would think that that would be possible.  I  really hope so.

Thank you for any help on resolving my this problem for me.

In the Sheet View select the viewport ,then:

  • Activate View (either from the ribbon , or clicking right button of the mouse and choose the option Activate View).  Change the scale to fit your purpose. Deactivate View to come back to sheet editing
  • You can use also the Size Crop Option without Activating View but only for 2d outcomes - Floor Plans, Elevations, Sections
  • Image 1.pngI figure this works for LT too...

You can activate view, turn viewport crop region to visible, and stretch it.  It works for all model and detail views but not drafting or legend views.

First thing to check is " Scope Box"

as long as there is not scope box associated with the view, you can

resize it..

There are chances that Scope box is applied in the " View Template" ..

do this check and you should be good to go..
