in revit 2023 i believe you have the ability to tag a revit link. when i try to do so it says that tag family is not loaded and do i want to load one. i say yes and it brings me to the o.o.t.b. annotation folder where i cannot seem to locate that family. does anyone have an idea as to where this family is kept?

What Tag/Category are you looking for?

...maybe a Multi-Category Tag would suffice?

The 'revit link tag'

for instance, my project has several building models and a site model where each building model is linked into the site model. in the site model i want to tag each building (revit link)

Create one or re-categorize another one and save it under a new name.

Apparently not for you. It's no biggie though. You can create one in less than 60 seconds.

Not everything has an OOTB template.  Just use a generic one and change category.
