Revit Link not updating in extant views

I have a BIM Manager client with an annoying issue. He has a project with a Core & Shell model and an interiors model. The C&S model has been updated but when the link is reloaded, it does not update in some of the extant views. If he cuts new plan views, it is updated. Has anyone seen this and have a suggestion on how to get the link to update? Normally he (and I) would just tell the user to remake the view(s), but the views have a bunch of plan callouts on them that are already fully annotated, so it would be some work to redo.
