Have u guys ever realize that when you create a schedule tale with the area of a toposolid Revit is getting this data from the sum of the faces of the toposolid and not the exacly area of a square like we do in real life??

For example, if you have a hill in your terrain and ask Revit to get the area in a schedule table it will show a bigger area.

And where is this projected area in available fields for schedule?

I never said it was an available parameter field, although it is for Toposurfaces.

All I was doing was offering an explanation.

For what it's worth; it's same deal with other Revit Elements.

Are you reading any of my replies? Projected Area and Surface Areas are NOT Element Properties.  The only Revit Element that has those two Properties is a Toposurface (pre-2024)I only mentioned Project Area and Surface Area to explain what is going on.

Create area plan, draw the areas and schedule them.

Yea, it seems to be the only way...

Revit should add a new parameter in new versions, that we could choose "face area" or "projected area", it would give us better freedom of choise.

You could draw property lines. When selected they display projected area, you can name them, and schedule them.
