I'm making a generic model family for a concrete wall edge with metal sheet covering, and when I try to join it at corners, the join geometry ends up looking all messed up.

I may have forgotten to modify something in the generic family, as I'm pretty new to 3D family modelling.

Picture A1 is how it should look, A2 is how it currently looks.

*i'll attach the family as well.

  • you can create a Triangular extruded Void Family and load into the Project to Cut the end of your extrusion

  • or better , you can create Profile Family and make a Sweep into the project _the join is made automatically
