Revit foundation wall height problem

I'm having trouble moving the foundation wall down four feet deep. After creating a foundation wall, the top of the footing is attached to the frame floor. How do you make the foundation wall go deeper?

Create a new level at the height you want the foundation wall to go.

Select the foundation wall. In its Properties, give it a base constraint = the new level that you have created. You can also give it a top constraint = the desired level, or you can set a top offset (height of the wall) to the desired height.
