I am getting the same prompt/ error message when I try and open a Revit file, error reads: The file blank.rvt was saved in a later version of Revit and cannot be retrieved in this version.
I am running Revit 2014, and was able to open one of the files in Revit 2015 on another computer. If I am reading the error message correctly the file should not be able to be opened in 2015 either, maybe I am not reading it right.
I have a fellow colleague running Revit 2016 and he was able to open a file as well that I am not able to open. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
