Hi, I imported files from bimobject, specifically RFAs from 'SEPS2BIM'. When I loaded the family, it is surrounded by an invisible box. I can see it in the 3D View, and Plan Views, but it is invisible in 'Edit Family' option

Can you help me what to do here?

Post a copy of the family here so we can look. I'm guessing it is a Coarse Detail Level clearance or basic representation.

Hi,

Often these families have reservation voids/solids in them with a (instance) visibility parameter.

If it's a nested family and set to invisible then it won't be visible in the family.

Inspect the Yes/No parameters, or:

- the object is on a subcategory which is turned off

- the object detail level is limited to fine (or another), switch the view in the family to all 3 states.

If it's none of these, then share the family.

- Michel
