Revit Exporting 600MB DWG

Hi all,

I'm having trouble exporting a DWG from a revit file. Need to send DWGs to others for coordination. Most views export perfectly fine except for one, a 100scale plan view of a roof terrace. It takes up to 45 mins to export and the DWG produced is 600+ MB (The largest DWG I've ever seen was only 30MB, and all the other ones I have exported from this file are <2MB. I have tried exporting to different formats, changing the detail level of the view, turning off as much unnecessary information as possible, etc. I haven't found any successful solutions yet. I have tried every process I know of to clean up the DWG file as well to no avail. Any advice/suggestions would be appreciated!

is there any other elements on the terrace? tables, chairs, plants, entourage, Lights, etc? some of them can be causing the DWG to be exported larger than it should. we had a similar issue (not nearly as extreme though) due to downloaded interior content in a model.

There are some different elements on this terrace that aren't on the others. They have not caused an issue in the past, but I will try this out! Thanks!

try to open your file with audit tick and activate your bulb icon if there are hidden objects/cad files that are not necessary to be there and  need to be deleted. thanks

Just posting this in case anyone else has similar issue. It was the various elements on the terrace, after tracing over them with simple 2D geometry and turning off the visibility of the family in plan view, the file returned to normal size.

Thanks!
