Is there simply no way to make some surfaces on a conceptual mass model adiabatic? I don't want to model the entire building, I want to model a representative section of the building (a single dorm room), in which only one surface (the south wall) is exposed to the outside. I want to model a single window on that south wall, and investigate the effects of changing the window shading, SHGC, U-value, and area. I want to compare the relative effects of changing the window options and changing the wall U-value. I want to model the relative effects of changing the infiltration rate. Revit, at this point, appears to be completely useless for all of these tasks. It's extremely disappointing.
