I am am trying to create a custom stair case, I started by drawing model lines and traced them in the stair creator, I have tried every thing I can think, of my coworker is also having the same issue. Revit dose not recognize more than one riser and says 18 more left, yet i have added 19 risers that are called risers when hovering the mouse over top.stair.PNG

Sounds like you are learning how stairs work - and don't work.  Right now Revit is telling you that the sketch is invalid.  I can plainly see that it is too.

...my suggestion would be to start with a U-Shape Winder Component Stair and then Convert it to Sketch-Based and modify the sketch.  Might be easier for you.

....the answer to your larger question is that you are doing a Sketch-Based Stair as opposed to a Component Stair. They're different. Components created by sketching, they do not have the automatic relationship to each other as when stair components are created with the common component tools.

Modeling aside.  Have you thought out the stair design?  I've seen stairs built into mountain cliff less torturing than this.

But if you insist: create a stair with 2 component runs, turn off Automatic landing, convert each run to sketch and edit them.  See 2019 file.
