revit curtain wall storefront

i don't have the storefront curtain wall as in default it only written curtain wall nothing else the other two types are missing where i can find or if it's deleted where to get it back

(Curtain) Walls are system families. So if they are there depends on the template you are using.

If you start a project with a standard autodesk (architectural) template you have a good chance that you will find it there.

It is possible to use "Transfer Project Standards" on the Manage tab to copy curtain wall types between projects.

It is also possible to just create a new curtain wall type (e.g. named storefront) and make the proper settings for that curtain wall type.

If needed you can make it part of your company template.

1. create a new project using the default architectural template. Store front will be there.
2. Draw any storefront wall in this new file and save it somewhere
3. Link the new file to your current project that does not have storefront.
4. Find the link and use tab key to select the storefront wall you made inside the link.
5. Copy the wall and place it anywhere in your new file,
6. You will now have storefront available (even if you delete the copied wall)

I tried this and it did not work

need more steps to know how to link add the curtain wall saved as a project instead of family...off to watch more videos.   I need added 2 more steps to clarify how to do this.
