Revit crashing when closing model file - Ntdll.dll errors

User can open a Revit model work on it, save it, synch, etc. When the user clsoes the model file, Revit crashes with the following error: Event log shows the following: Faulting application name: Revit.exe, version: 2015.0.2016.512, time stamp: 0x573472a5 Faulting module name: ntdll.dll, version: 10.0.10586.306, time stamp: 0x571af2eb Exception code: 0xc0000374 Fault offset: 0x00000000000ee6fc Faulting process ID: 0x34a4 Faulting application start time: 0x01d1fa0ebfcdc01f Faulting application path: C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Revit 2015\Revit.exe Faulting module path: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll Report ID: b8a45353-f2fc-42d3-b31c-76064eb11c29 Faulting package full name: Faulting package-relative application ID: The PC is an HP Z420 OS - Windows 10 BDSP 2015 GPU: NVIDIA K2000D card running the latest driver - installed this morning from NVIDIA's site. On AutoCAD forums there is a suggestion that this error is caused by either non-certified GPU or drivers, this does not seem to be the issue on this PC. I have not yet tried swapping out the GPU. This problem affects all Project and template files. It does not affect family files. An example of how to crash Revit 2015 on the affected PC. Open AutoDesk Architectural template. Close Project file. A dmp file is not always created when Revit crashes. The journal file does not give any indication of the crash either.

The same happens to me now… Have tried to delete all the plugins but Revit v.2016 still crashes when closing a project file.

I tried the Windows 10 Repair option and then reinstall but Revit still crashed. Did then a clean Uninstall (https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/revit-products/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles...) and after installing Revit again the problem is no more… Boring job but it fixed the problem.
