Problem is continious, I open a model to edit a security line diagram and each time an error comes up (screen shot attached) and revit crashes.

Solutions anyone?

Graphic card or driver issue. You can try to duplicate the view to see if the problem goes away with a new view. if not you can try updating your graphics card driver. If that does not work disable graphics acceleration for Revit.

I got the same error for a few weeks, playing with Graphic card settings, acceleration or drivers did not work. My solution was to uninstall/remove all Microsoft .NET framework in my computer thru the control panel\program and features. After that when to microsoft.com to get and install .NET framework version 4.5.2. Revit is working fine since then. I always get a message to update to .NET framework 4.6.1, but I am still afraid of getting into the same crashing errors so I am leaving this update out.

Did this solution work for you? If not, what did you do to fix it? I have a user with the same problem. Updated the graphics driver to the latest and it still crashes. The strange thing: An error message pops up but it kills Revit so fast that I can't read it, AND there's no chance of error reporting afterwards.

I tried on a project that had same issues.. We ended up simpliyfing the spline as a bunch of arcs. Revit doesn't handle spline lines too complex, apparently (Revit version 2019.1)
