Revit crashes when closing one file

When I have more than one Revit file open and I choose to close one of them it closes the whole program.

What method are you using to close? File=>Close (correct) or big "R"=>Close (incorrect)?  Or, the "x"? 

...use "Ctrl-W".

I have tried all methods under R close control W and the x the outcome is the same it crashes and states Revit has stopped working??

Something's screwy. Try a Repair.
