Hi,
I'm a french student currently working on my graduating project. I have to set up an environment that allow a user totally new to 3D technologies and geomatics to manipulate 3D objects easily. I chosed to create a plugin for Revit. Plugin is working as intended right now. The problems I'm encountering right now are tho following:
3D modelisation in Revit is quite long for users not used to this product, like me. Considering the number of objects I must modelize, I'm looking for a better way to do this. I haven't manage to use Revit for the modelisation from a point cloud. I managed to import point cloud into projects but I haven't been able to use thos point clouds for anything else than a sort of "tracing paper" (pardon me for my lack of vocabulary) that I would use to help me create objects, but that is still very tedious.
Is there a way to modelise easily in Revit ?
Is there another software that would allow me to create those objects easily and then import them in Revit ?
I've got access to Revit (obviously), Cyclone, Autocad and 3Dreshaper, but I'm open to other softwares if those can't be used.
Thanks in advance !
Jordi
