Revit bug - Material takeoff for Design options

Material takeoff for a specific design option does not update the schedule - just shows all materials from Main model instead.
Design option is specified through Visibility/Graphics for the schedule.

Did you use "Visibility/Graphics Overrides" in schedule:

FYI, design options are more for schematic design and not all features/systems work well through options. For example, you can't have different electrical systems in options (at least not properly working ones).

I don't know if that is the official intention of Options. But it looks like options are used for deciding between different room configurations, roofs etc. Once that is settled and detailed design starts, you don't use options anymore. 

Usually when you go into detailed design, you already chose what option to go with.

Then Design Options should not be a possibility in Visibility/Graphics of the schedule, if there was no intention for us to use it.

this is work for me  I have no problem with that.

If you set VG to a design option then the schedule will show elements of that design option AND the main model.
