Revit behaving like wall is in the same location even after moving wall.

I've made a few changes to my building, one of the changes was to move one of my walls in order to increase a room size. Since moving the wall I'm not able place a room to get the new area size, when i try to place the room it places it using the area boundary of the where the previous wall used to be. Its behaving as if the wall is still there even though I've moved the wall. I posted a similar problem on another thread  a few weeks ago and I wasn't able to get a solution. I'm hoping that someone has also experienced this problem before...

it may be possible there is a Room Separation line that is hidden that might be causing the issue.

There's no room separation lines on that side of the building

Is there another wall below or above that encroaches on the Room object causing it to think it is contained by that object?

No there's no wall above or anything like that and its not just the one room all the areas within the building where I've moved the wall all behave this way when I'm trying to place a room. I'm not sure but I think it might be a revit bug

can you try to copy/paste the walls to a new revit file and test there...perhaps the working revit file is corrupt somehow.

I've copied and pasted into a new revit file and it seems to work but i don't see how my revit file could be corrupted, everything else seems to work fine

the behavior of room objects is such that they look for "Room Bounding" objects.  These objects include

walls

floors

roofs

ceilings

reference planes

columns

anything that has "room bounding" as a parameter that is checked/unchecked within the Properties palette.  There may be a hidden wall, foundation wall, column, etc. that is interfering with your room object.  Try going into Visibility Graphics dialog box and turning off all model objects except walls and rooms to see if the strange behavior stops when you input the room object.

I'm almost there, so the problem was my foundation, when I extended my wall i forgot to extend my foundation as well so it was acting a room boundary, i've deleted the foundation so now when i try to tag it selects the whole area, only issue is when i try to place a room i keep geting this error ' None of the created elements are visible in Floor Plan: Ground Floor View. You may want to check the active view, its Parameters, and Visibility settings, as well as any Plan Regions and their settings.' , I don't know why its saying that because I haven't a got any room hidden, I've checked and deleted the room from the schedule so i don't now why I'm getting this error.
