Hi all,

Unfortunately something strange happened to one of my views when I synced. The rest of the views on that sheet are fine. Another colleague has the latest backup with the view being unaffected. Does anyone know how the best way to get that view back into the central file? Thank you

I am assuming this is not a cloud based central

  1. Did you first check the central to make sure it is corrupt there too and not just on your local?
  2. When you say "Latest backup with the Sheet view unaffected"...what about other elements in that backup??
    • Are you willing to lose progress does after that backup?
    • Or prefer to recreate the sheet?

Worst case scenarios

  1. you can use that back up to create a new Central
  2. Restore a previous version of the central model itself (see links below)

  • What got messed up specifically?
  • Did the rest of your updates Sync and its only the "view" that got messed up?
    • if so, delete your local and recreate it
    • all your changes should be there and worst case is you'll need to remake the view.
