I have downloaded and installed the Revit 2026 Content Library (several times now!) and there is hardly anything in it. It's missing several Folders and most of the Files within the Folders. For instance, the Window Family Folder has one Nested Folder with one Window. The Door Folder has a Barn door only. Plumbing only has four Shower doors. I'm attaching some images so you can see what I'm talking about. Is anyone else having the same problem? Please help! I'm a Revit Instructor and I need that content!!!
I know how to install the content. I've been using a new version of Revit every year for almost 20 years. What I discovered a couple of days ago is that the only download available under Product Updates > Libraries is the "Residential" content library. This download only has a few family types in it. I've been working with someone from Autodesk on another issue with downloading 2026. She sent me a link to the full content download. I don't understand why that is not available where Autodesk instructs you to get the download! BUT!! I'm all good now!!
do you know where i can find/access the full content to download? I have encountered the same problem when i tried to load a curtain wall door and was unable to do so..
Keri - you rock! I'm teaching Revit at SPU Winter term and have been appalled at the lack of components in the Revit 2026 version! I hope the link gives me everything I hoped for (and more???) -Michelle M.
Except...I downloaded the residential library v. 2 for this and it's the same BS - missing components. Do I have to go to an earlier version? This is a new laptop, so it was a clean install - no previous versions. GRRRR....
I was having the same issue until I realized the search date bar was set to updates that have released in the path 3 months, once I fixed that all the content folders are available again.
