Revit 2024 Attach top - Unable to select roof form

Hello everyone, 

I am new to revit and have only just started using the program. I am having an issue when trying to attach the highlighted wall to my curved roof. I have tried everything but unfortunately it won't allow me to select the roof when using the 'Attach top / base' tool. Any assistance would be extremely appreciated!

Hi, you need to select roof and reset, then you are able to attach
