Revit 2023: Why start editing an object gets it hidden from the takeoff schedule?

Revit 2023: Why start editing an object gets it hidden from the takeoff schedule?

 

For example, in the screenshot below, I couldn’t figure out why start editing the “ceiling” object gets it disappeared from the takeoff schedule.

 

What could be the issue here?

Hi,

 

I think this is how Revit works, when editing the object it isn't there physically (in the model). This isn't really an issue in my opinion. Why would you use this?

Select Accept as Solution and Likes are always welcome.

That was a weird behavior and wanted to double check if it’s by design
