I don't know why my area plan colors do not show. I have ticked the foreground placement in the view template and yet I do not see the colors over the walls and floors. Any ideas why?Capture.JPG

@eyalbRAPVR

  1. Is color fill checked under visibility graphics??
  2. Does the material has a solid fill pattern? (if yes that will conceal the color scheme)
  3. Do you have any solid fill pattern overrides (if yes that will conceal the color scheme)

Have you change the color scheme from background to foreground?

Are you in an actual Area View?

Removing all solid fills resolved the problem, thank you!

Any idea how to control the transparency of the color fills?

I did place in in foreground but I still see my stairs cutting through the fills...

Color schemes are transparent fills... If you are having issues with linked/imported CAD, you need to set the Color Scheme to Background

I have this problem a lot in many projects. Even when the location is in the foreground, and the area fill is enabled, it still gives the problems you describe. We have solved this by changing the bottom view range from unlimited to another range.
