REVIT 2021 first impressions

... after trying it for a couple of hours

.... basically it is the same as 2020 19 18 

... just a couple  of improvements

.... finally in REVIT 2021 no more internal origin point (FINALLY )

... unless you choose to see it

... slanted walls (great)

... row striping for schedules (great)

.... real time realistic views (amazing idea .... but dissapointing ... for now)

.... I like this one 

.... but there are so many bugs

.... the images are not showing correctly

.... decals... bad 😞

Just to be clear this was only an issue from 2020.2 til now (5-6 months) and was related to the fact the origin points made visible happened in a "point" release, so a file upgrade did not happen. Without a file upgrade it was technically not possible to turn off the origin point.

Either way, glad you like some of the new features.

There seems to still not be a fix for Revit MEP not working with phasing...

How can Autodesk just ignore such a fundamental problem? We can't properly collaborate with Revit MEP engineers because of this.

Besides some of the things you mentioned. From the site....visibility parameter for voids "Voids cut family geometry type and instance parameters". This was high on my wishlist. If it works as expected this can make family creation much easier in a lot if instances.
