Revit 2020 will not open

I am working in Revit 2020. I have a model that I have been working in for about a week now. I went to print some sheets for a meeting and Revit told me that I could not print. I tried to save the project and reopen to try printing again and Revit would not let me save the project. I ended up shutting down the program without saving and restarted my computer.  Revit is now stuck in the opening logo view. My coworker was able to open the file and print the pages. It opened fine for her. I have tried restarting revit and my computer multiple times but I never get past the opening logo screen.

Any help with solving this issue would be much appreciated.

try going through this:

1. Open windows services panel

2. find the service "Autodesk Desktop Licensing Service"

3. If the service is not running try to start it manually

4. If it starts the GREAT! you can stop here. If not then keep going to the next step.

5. If it wont start then open the file explorer and navigate to "C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\AdskLicensingService"

6. look for a file called "AdskLicensingService.data" and open it in Notepad

7. IF there is nothing in the file, close notepad and either delete it or if you are weary of that, just rename it to something like "AdskLicensingService.data.old"

8. Go back to the services window and try to start up the "Autodesk Desktop Licensing Service" again.

9. if it starts, it should create a new "AdskLicensingService.data" file in the folder from step 5.

10. If all that goes well, your revit 2020 "should" fire right up.

Thanks for the response. It looks like the licensing service is not on my computer. When I go to "C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\AdskLicensingService" there is nothing there. I looked under the Revit folder as well as conducted a folder search. Nothing showed up.

@Anonymous  have you installed the latest hotfix for Revit 2020?
