Revit 2020 Missing Dynamo

Hi community,

I have downloaded a dynamo script from a tutorial on youtube but I am not able to open it because I cannot find the Dynamo addin. My colleague from IT checked my computer and told me it is already installed but it is not showing in Revit. Anyone knows how to fix this?

• Are you checking under the right tab of the ribbon? It should be under Manage tab and not addins.
• Do you have the latest hotfixes and patches installed?

Thank you for the reply. I checked in Mange and it is not there. I have 2020.2

Latest patch was 2020.2.6 ...I think.

Ask your IT or BiM manager or whoever push these updates to get the latest build

Good.  He should make sure to go through the release notes on the following link. There are some files to be downloaded separately in order to restore Dynamo. He will need to replace DynamoRevitDS.sig and DynamoRevitVersionSelector.sig in the following location: C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Revit 2020\Addins\DynamoForRevit\Revit\ .

I tried this,  Dynamo was showing for me but with an error, so I tried your suggestion and Dynamo has completely disappeared from my toolbar now.    Thanks anyway,  will keep searching for a solution to get it back.
