Revit 2019 Material Library not working

Dear Team,

 

I had installed 2018 Revit & material library was not working & uninstalled it.

Now i have installed 2019 Revit, but material library is still not working.

Kindly help.

It Opens but the complete materials is not visible.

Did you try a repair of Revit and let me know if that helps?

Looks like it's fully opened in your screenshot. It doesn't appear to be missing anything. What do you think it is missing?  

 

...FWIW, the yellow icons represent legacy materials.

Hi

 

Material dialog box opens but all the materials doesn't appear & when i apply the showing material to a object, it doesn't get applied, the object  remains the same as earlier.

I did try updating graphic card also & even tried disabling the graphic card & checked, its still the same.

Is it possible that the material is applied, but that your View Detail Level and/or View Visual Style settings aren't allowing you to see them? Or,  perhaps, the Material itself doesn't have a unique Graphic Appearance (i.e. Shading Color, etc.)?

 

...how are you applying Materials to elements?

I guarantee you that the issue you are having has nothing to do with the Material Library not working.  Sounds like what you saying, is that you are trying to apply a material to an element, but don't know how.  What is the element? Can you provide information about the element's Type Properties.

Sir, sorry but i have been learning this software from an institute & i am well aware on how to apply materials to elements. When the institute people also dint know the solution for this, i have raised my concern here. When i meant Material Library, i am referring to complete materials which comes default with the software, which is not shown in the material browser. Only few materials option is there, which also shows a yellow mark & also when i apply the material, it is not applying to elements. As i mentioned in my earlier reply, RGB Value is not changing for the entire color options in graphics except for Shading.

 

The elements i am trying to apply material is basic wall & basic floor

Does this error happen in particular models or most models?

 

Can confirm if Revit 2019 installation on your machine meets requirements as recommended by Autodesk?
