Revit 2019 Door Issue

Good day,

There seem to be a problem with doors. Whenever I try to put the M_Door-Passage-Single-Flush door type on a 75mm thick wall, it says that the door cannot be created.  It is weird because the door works for 76mm and 74mm thick walls.

Please help.

Thanks,

Edit the family and change the wall inside the family editor to 75 mm (consider same layers) and see if it breaks there. The family editor might give additional information on why it breaks

Some constraints in familySome constraints in familyHi

There's a way to put constraint in the family using custom formulas and parameter to restrict

some dimension.. the shown constraint are not allowing door family or it just making sure that Frame inset

is restricted to get minimum 80mm value, lower that that wont work....something like that..

have a go and edit them..

Just for example... theres a door family, and you wanna make sure the door size is minimum 600mm,

you can put that constraint in the family so that any user who put size below 600mm doesn't allows to create that size...

hope that helps..

Best luck.
