Revit 2019 - Custom Render Settings

In Revit you used to be able to make amendments in the custom render settings, such as number of reflections allowed.

I need to bump this higher as my model has a lot of glass and the glass at the back is rendering black - I'm pretty sure the reason is that the number of reflections allowed is too low - my material setting is fine by the way.

Anybody know how to change the 'number of reflections allowed' setting? As this doesn't come up when you open the custom render window anymore.

I have had a look at 2019 and previous versions back to 2017 and cant find that setting for you.

If it existed it doesn't look like it does now.

Maybe try using "Render in Cloud" and see if that gives better results.

Revit's previous Render engine had that option (about 10 years ago).  It now uses Raytracing, which doesn't have that setting.  I would think that there is insufficient lighting in the area that is causing your issue.

No there is plenty of light, the pane is rendering as solid black. I'm rendering in the cloud and its working fine

Are you able to re-create this issue in a new project?

If so can you upload the example project for us to look at, also maybe a copy of the render would be helpful too.
