Revit 2018 - section callout heads missing?

The callout heads seem to be missing from Revit 2018? Fresh install.

Yes. Additionally, you can add the family to an RTE so New Projects using that Template will have the family in it by default.

Barth,

 

Thanks for the reply. So out of the box, none of the system components are usable in Revit? You have to manually adjust them?

Some basic families should be included if you started from a Project Template.

You lost me. If the family is loaded into the Project Browser, then you should have access to it. If it's loaded, but unusable; that's another issue.  And, what do you mean by "manually adjust them"?

@ToanDN Thanks for the info.

 

@barthbradley I guess I meant if you had to load the family each time you start a new project (without a template). I'm learning that templates are crucial to the process.

Every Project starts with a template (RTE).  Go to Options=>File Locations to see where the default templates are coming from.
